I really don’t get why the GOP has decided the way to the White House is to divide the country by trashing African-Americans. I mean really?? Is that really smart or do they know something I don’t know?? Rick Santorum, said ‘I don’t want to make black people’s lives better’, Newt Gingrich, said that ‘he would do away with child labor laws’ and ‘inner-city kids’ could clean their schools for money and my personal favorite “I would go to the NAACP Annual Convention and speak “about why the African-American community should demand pay checks and not be satisfied with food stamps”, Rick Perry has a hunting ground named “Camp Niggerhead”….what the hell is a ‘niggerhead’???!!! I might not want to know. And we all know Ron Paul’s record on race. And these people want to be the President of the United States??? If ANY of these people are elected president America just went back the early 1900’s….and for them it’s a great era they would love to repeat….just not rationale, sane people.

The Houston Texans have gotten themselves into a bad situation at the most important position: Quarterback. Matt Schaub goes down, in comes Matt Leinhart and….down he goes. I’m beginning to think anyone named Matt I might need to unfriend because bad luck is on their side….or is it?? It really might be just the luck of the Texans. The Texans have the #1 seed in the AFC so that tells me hell just frozen over. Now it seems the universe is correcting itself by taking out whoever is foolhardy enough to crawl under center. Just when Houston looked like it had gotten its act together…..BOOM…..the walls of Jericho come crumbling down. I hate it for them but then again the Raiders are winning too so I guess it really did freeze after all. Who knew??

Bill Parcells once told the Dallas Cowboys to not get full of themselves which he summed up like this: ‘Don’t eat the cheese’. On a local radio it was said that Terrance Newman was walking through the Valley Ranch locker room after the Cowboys beat the Bills picking out what reporter he wanted to talk to. He didn’t want to talk to reporters who has dissed his play……WHAT???? When did Newman become Deion Sanders??? Did I miss that??? Even Orlando Scandrick got in on the act.

Why act like this then go out and give up 282 yards, two touchdowns, and make Rex Grossman look like Joe Theismann has snuck back on the field. The Cowboys are not that good on defense (please see the Philly Eagle game if you dare) but they feel they are. Not only did they not eat the cheese they make kool-aid to go with it.

Well, well…..what a twist of fate this has turned out to be. In 2006 the Mavericks (with the help of the refs) lost to the Heat and were called ‘chokers’ or the word I kept hearing: soft. Well the Mavericks celebrated right in front of  the Heat fans much like the Heat did to us back in 2006. It felt great to see the Mavericks get that monkey off of their back. No longer can you can people call the Mavericks ’soft’, instead they can be called: NBA CHAMPIONS!!!

*Cough, cough*….What was that Wade??? Oh that was the sound of you and LeBron choking……I have a cure for that…it’s called: Dirk.

Way to go Mavs!!!!!! You deserve it!!!!!

After the Mavericks defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder last night I started to wonder: What if the Mavericks meet the Miami Heat in The Finals?? I gotta admit, and I think I speak for all Mavs fans, I WANT REVENGE ON THE HEAT!!! Sorry Bulls but I know you have the M.V.P. in D-Rose but really this series is bigger than you my friend. In 2006 the greatest robbery, since Bonnie & Clyde took the city by storm, took place in the form of the Mavs being robbed of their title. Yes, I know I should have moved on…..well guess what…..I HAVEN’T!! If you watched the game last night you saw Dirk getting handled like he was a stripper at Silver City (shout out to my friends there) and the refs have let it go on for 2 games now. If that’s the way the want to play it fine. Dirk has shown a toughness that we all knew was there and now the world knows…..and so does the rest of N.B.A.

The ‘D’ in Dallas Mavericks once stood for ‘don’t’ as in they don’t play defense. I am so happy that it now stands for defense. If the Mavericks make it to the NBA Finals it will be because of their defense, not their offense. I guess the old saying is true ‘Defense wins championships’. Do you hear that Dallas Cowboys????

Since the passing of the health care bill violence has erupted all over America and the number one culprits: the UnAmerican Group known as the ‘Tea-Party’. I cringe everytime I hear one of those right-wing loons in the media refer to them as Americans. Well guess what, they are not. Real Americans would never resort to violence because of a bill passing, massive or not. These nuts are attacking U.S. Congressmen by breaking their office windows out, cutting the gas lines to a congressman brother’s house (the idiot thought he was at the congressman’s house), and the constant threats against the president. I really didn’t see the need for people to bring guns to health care town halls, I guess they needed to be heard on gun rights….wrong event people. Violence will continue to escalate as long as we got Glenn Beck, Rush, and Fox News on the airwaves preaching nonsense. Will the ‘Real Americans’ stand up…….please?

I just keep wondering why do Ex-Governor of Alaska Sarah “The Quitter” Palin keeps referring herself to animals. I mean first she called herself a “pitbull with lipstick” now at the redneck convention…..errr…..I meant to say the NRA Convention she referred to herself and the other ‘ladies’ there as “mama grizzlies”.  This woman has a love hate relationship with animals. The woman shot wolves from a helicopter, then she called herself a pitbull……make up your mind Sarah. Do you love animals or hate them? I do have a suggestion for you though……keep referring to yourself as a female dog…..I think it fits you so well.
